Passivation improves and purifies machined parts by removing debris, dirt, and other residue that can become embedded in the surface of metals. The passivation process provides a protective coating without changing the base metal's appearance.

Cadmium

Cadmium plating offers excellent corrosion resistance, especially in salt water, and is a durable material that is often used as a surface for adhesives.
